The Green Bay Packers have signed TE Andrew Quarless. The signing was announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Quarless, the first of the team's two fifth-round draft picks, was a four-year letterman at Penn State. He appeared in 49 career games, including 29 starts, and finished his career as the Nittany Lions' all-time leader in receptions by a tight end (87) and second in receiving yards by a tight end (1,146).
Quarless becomes the fourth of seven Packers draft picks to sign with the team.

The inaugural '5K Run at Lambeau Field' has surpassed half its capacity with 1,800 registrants, the Green Bay Packers reported Friday.
Interested participants are encouraged to register before the event reaches its capacity of 3,000 runners.
The event, presented by the Packers and Bellin Health, is a run/walk set for 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, the first day of Packers training camp.
The computer-timed run is highlighted by a neighborhood route that ultimately takes participants into Lambeau Field and around the famed gridiron. The event has a special finish line located in the parking lot - a replica of the team's 50-yard line, which will be created on a partially sized field, painted to mirror Lambeau Field on game day.
Bellin Health is contributing its considerable race expertise to the event through logistical and medical support. The organization's..
